Typhon Studios' Karloff-Pierce dual busts

#1 Post by derekc62 »

Here are William and Janus - better known as Boris Karloff and Jack Pierce.

This two-bust solid resin kit is 1/4 scale and was sculpted by Jeff Yagher and produced by Typhon Studios of Northern Ireland.

I covered my build of this kit in a WIP that can be found in the Workshop here: http://theclubhouse1.net/phpBB3/viewtop ... 9&t=122496

I hope you enjoy the images as much as I did building and painting this terrific tribute kit.

Well done - especially Franky's skin tones.

Thanks very much guys!
Jeff, love the concept. Don't know if it was all you or a collaboration with Mike Calvert of Typhon but I love the nod to the Janus kit.

A sensational sculpt and an extraordinary paint-up. Superb flesh tones and superb use of colour. Spectacular!
