Veritas TMNT Gang

#1 Post by Harkon »

Hi there,

finally I found time to paint them up.
Some parts were customized, Leo's swords are action toys.
Great kits indeed, they stand about 12 inches each including base.

Thanks for looking!

Andreas

Absolutely love the paintjob on the reptilian skin. Really appreciating the depth in there. The only thing I would comment on are the scars on the torso. Not sure blood is very realistic given that those front plates, to me, should be avascular structures.

However, these are 'mutant turtles' so anything goes.
Loves the shells and skin patterns.

Your turtle collection must be strong. I thoroughly enjoy the realistic skintones.

They look great in a row and I keep collecting turtle based kits.

As for the front plates I wasn't sure how to interpret them.
If you look at the front plates you'll not only find veins but also see that they're flexible like muscles going to the bone they attached at.
So I went for kinda half muscle half plates flexible front structure unlike real turtles though but ok for a mutant as I thought.
