Ellis Kendrick Has Passed Away

I have just been informed that another of our friends, Ellis Kendrick, has passed away. A post from his daughter on his Facebook page said that the Leukemia had advanced rather quickly over the past several days to a week and his organs quickly declined. Ellis has been a member here since 2010. I am sure that many of you that enjoyed conversing with him on these boards will join me in saying that "You will be missed, friend".

Sad news indeed.

I was informed earlier today but knew there would be someone better suited than myself to start the thread here.

Ellis was a nice guy - very pleasant - and (at 70) was still way too young.

RIP buddy - another Gentleman & friend that will be missed by us all.

Always sorry to hear this kind of news, but I'm not really sure I knew him. What was his Clubhouse ID?

We talked a couple years ago about him and a couple figure guys from Kansas City and me with some from St. Louis meeting hallway in Columbia, MO but never worked it out. I also wanted to run into him at Wonderfest but never did - you know how that goes.... funny how life gets in the way sometimes and the missed opportunities that go along with it. We'll miss you on here !!

It's very sad I never talked with him.

Very sorry to hear this. I only had a few interactions with him online, but he was always very thoughtful and kind. So sad.

A few Years ago now...
Still missing him, but the reason I post now here is. His Daughter has post on her fb. Someone is using his profile to scam people.
So if you not really knew him , you may be a victim of those scammers. trying to use his name to enter in your system.
Sad.
He was a real friend to me,
