Hi folks,
Here's my take on the wonderful Monarch kit, beautifully sculpted by Jeff Yagher.
I added a little more hair around his ears and changed the keys for a lantern.
I always wanted to make the base a little more enclosed and moody, so had a pop at
adding a back wall and door. Looks nice in B&W!

That looks better than the original kit, which was pretty amazing anyway! Great job!

I really liked the original kit, but this is so much better. Well designed and executed. Love it!.

Sensational! Crisp, clean paint-up with excellent detailing. Gorgeous colour palette and superb shading and highlighting. Amazing base.
An outstanding build.

Many thanks for your generous feedback folks, it was a fun project!
I have more Yagher styrene in the stash pile beckoning, the Monarch Sinbad and the
superb Moebius Death Dealer. Hmm, the agony of choice...!
take care folks,
Paul

Bravo on the paint apps. Great use of contrast. Love the brown, purple and gray.
Love the flesh colors on the face.
Very spooky!
