Moebius Grim Reaper....

#1 Post by Glusniffer »

This is one boss kit!

I built it back in June and cant say enough about it. Fits together well with little flash and a pleasure to paint! Love it! 8)

Oh, there's no nameplate so I had the do it myself. My eyes...

And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?

Hey Jeff, there is a nameplate available.

Yours looks pretty good though. I love how realistic that rope belt looks.
Your paint slinging has gotten very good.

I really need to get mine on the bench one of these days.

Thanx pal. Didn't know. And that looks exactly what I was going for. The old Aurora style lettering. But after 3 attempts I dropped the 'Grim'. Again the eyes. Pics don't do it justice but there's green in the lettering to. 8)

I noticed the green.
I like the touches you added all over for (I am assuming) moss.

Yes. Precisely lichens. I actually did some math here. On the outskirts of Nashville there are more old family cemeteries to even mention. Dating back over 250 years. I did my little gorilla glue trick but it doesn't really capture the real thing. I'm very happy you noticed!

Really didn't notice the subtle touch of green until I added it to the Gallery, You did an excellent job on this.

I considered getting one of these for my shelf, BUT, at my age I thought it would be unsettling having it looking down on me as I work, as well as unlucky.

I noticed! Thanx for crisping up the pics. I never could get the hang of good shots. But yeah, I did this one back in the summer and had some good mojo going! I was probably listening to the Dark Side of the Moon! 8) OR... maybe it had my name on it.

Again thanx Harry and don't fear the reaper...... :D
