This is my first post in a very long time.... been a crazy couple years for me... I sold Free Time Hobbies, then bought Squadron... then bought Free Time Hobbies back.... crazy around here!! Anyway, we are working close with X-Plus now so they sent me a sample of this kit a while back... here is how it turned out for me... I am not expert painter by any means, but it was fun!
This 1/8 scale plastic kit from X-Plus of the Jose Gonzalez art version of Vampirella is the newest release from X-Plus! These will be in stock next week... make sure to get a copy for yourself from us! Order one from me here!
Also... I did a quick little video of the build process here if you are interested.... YouTube Video of my build
Thanks guys! This kit got me in the mood to finish some other of my kits i've had for years.... i've been waiting until I get "better" at painting before doing some of my favorite kits... but, i realized if i wait until then i won't ever build them lol... so, good bad or ugly, I am bringing kits to Wonderfest this year for the contest
Damn dude that's some incredible work! And your paint-up is most impressive for me because I don't even know how to use an airbrush. I also really appreciate your video. I just completed the 1st X-Plus Vampirella glow version and was also impressed with the way the parts fit together so well. I hope to add this one to my collection in the very near future! Again major kudo's!

Ok I’m going to make sure to put on dark side of the moon during my next build!!! How did you do your glow Vampirella? Did you leave certain parts unpainted so they glow? I’ve got one but haven’t built it yet because I wasn’t due how I wanted to do it… thinking about painting the clothes and leaving all the skin unpainted… but not sure what your “supposed to do” with those kits

That is my plan when I get my glow Vampi.
Paint the base and the cloths and leave most of the skin glow.
Might shade some areas with thin washes, or pastels. But I love letting glow plastic show.
I was torn between saving it and getting another but it didn't take me long to cave so I painted it full throttle without any glow/show. As I'm posting I'm trying to get some decent pics to post.
But CultTVMan did a really cool vid like what you guys have in mind! Follow it to the end for the glow!
