Modifying my Minotaur kit-bashes (based on Steve west Ernie torso and head) to to be fighting each other.

Planned Modifications include:
Change 2 legged Minotaur left arm and claw to be grabbing brown minotaur by the throat
Change 4 legged Minotaur pose to be rearing up on back legs
Make all 4 legs thicker and longer to be in better scale with the torso and head
Replace 4 legged minotaur head with 3d printed Balrog head
Slim down lower front of 4 legged Minotaur to flow better into torso
Change 4 legged Minotaur arms to be more dynamic …not sure exactly how yet
Modifying an existing foam temple base to be large enough for both Minotaur bashes

MODIFYING A FOAM TEMPLE BASE
Using original back wall as a water basin floor
The original foam had a bad reaction (caved in and crumpled ) to the primer.
I patched areas with milliput , but I will have to seal base and rework temple flooring stones

Started sculpting the new back legs
Also reworking the arms; plan to make both the forearms and fingers longer

Coated and sealed the foam base to prevent bad reaction with future paint work
Reworked temple flooring blocks
Added steps and flooring design inside water basin
Added balrog head “fountain statue” at the end of the basin
Going to try and make water pouring out of the balrog head into the basin
Shortened the base by cutting off the end of the larger board which the temple base is glued onto

I am pretty psyched about this bash.
I have been thinking about doing this re-bash for many years.
Down side is that I was happy with the paint jobs on both these guys , and now I will have to start over.

Started roughing in the right back leg.
I really like the size and scale of these new legs.

Putting some color variation in the stones

Put on some washes to tone down and blend the block color differences
Lots of dry brushing left to do…

Adding a little mossy color to the water basin and some stones on the upper base
Blended in the new balrog head on the neck , beefing up chest , working new abs
Working new right back leg; second try at this as first try was a disaster
Reworking 2 legged Minotaur hand fingers positions to be grabbing 4 legged Minotaur neck

Cut out, replaced and Re-enforced foam base with milliput ,
then drilled out and inserted brass tubing to accept feet pegs
Started sculpting front left leg
