Escape Hatch: Wasp Woman

#1 Post by Anton Phibes »

I don't think its styrene, but as Escape Hatch mainly makes things that modify such, I thought this would be a good place to post. I stumbled across this on Facebook. I haven't been to Wonderfest in over a decade. I am going specifically to try and nab one of these. This film has always been a favorite of mine. I cannot explain why. I think one reason is because there was a lesson I learned about drug abuse from it. Long before I saw Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, I had seen this. I have to have one. Image

I will submit myself to six hours of arduous driving to make sure I acquire both Wasp Woman and The Fly bust (and whatever else I can get into) at Wonderfest this weekend.

Scott's not going - unless something has changed in the last few days...

Ok gang, if you are a fan of Janice Starlin, it doesn't get any better than this kit. Best likeness of the creature make up to date. Tops the DD figure and the Carol Hicks mask. HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATION.

You know what they say, never meet your heroes.

Glad you got your kit AP. Hope I run into you today.

I'm delighted that you like her. This project was a while taking shape. I decided to produce the kit at least two years ago when I felt certain that the Monarch Fly really was going to happen; I can't tell you how happy I am that the sculptor of the Fly, Michael Berglund, also did the Wasp Woman. Those four-limbed insects are going to look nice on the shelf side by side.

I couldn’t make Wonderfest.
Is this model available for sale anywhere else? I would like to get one for my model collection.
