Obliterated (Netflix) - for Buc (and probably others) :O)

Found this by total accident, am now part way through the 2nd episode (total of 8, around 50mins each) . . . and I'm LOVING it.

  • "An elite special forces team who thwarts a deadly threat to Las Vegas.
After their celebratory party, filled with booze, drugs and sex, the team discovers that the bomb they deactivated was a fake.
The now intoxicated team has to fight through their impairments, overcome their personal issues, find the real bomb, and save the world."

Funny, action-packed, and with a perfect cast.

Mentioned my friend Buc in the subject line because:
  • 1) History would suggest he's had similar general tastes to me as regards TV/movies.
    2) Also like me, he's getting older, so no guarantees he'd spot this without a paper-trail
So - to ANYONE that watches this and enjoys it (as much as I have so far) . . . Image

Wasn't sure how you would react to that episode :)

Have to say, I enjoyed the entire series - total escapism, loved the Vegas setting, and it was a step up from a popcorn movie (if that makes sense).

Was fun to watch as a run-up to Reacher Season 2 as well (which has started a bit slow this time, but is still good).

Just wish Prime would put all the Reacher episodes up at once. Hate having to wait for each Friday to come along!
