Making some changes to my demon bash:
Cut off the back claw on the feet to make the feet smaller and more proportionate to legs and body
Cut off the 2 little spikes on the inside and outside of the joint on the lowest leg segment
Beefed up the lower leg area where the thighs attach to the body
Changed the paint scheme to be not so monochromatic ; trying for a tiger-crocodile mix scheme
Made lava base by modifying a JL Crinon cemetery base
Still have to add highlights and detailing to the lava

Thanks!
After I finish the lava, I will try to post better pics. These pics do not really show the true colors.

. . . and with his definition of "finished", Joe reminds us why Websters release updates every year :)

Keep up the good work bud :thumb2:

Holy guacamole! You are in the zone man. Living up to its name that looks EVIL. With your ongoing modifications, tweaks and improvements you are the trekkriffic of bashers. :)

If you have any inhibitions re painting you should throw them away -- that's a very effective paint job (even so far). Looking forward to seeing the completed kit (*cough*).

Do you provide trauma counseling for visitors?

Thanks guys!

HAH - I am not in the same league as Trekriffic - but thank you !

HOWEVER….
I overworked and screwed up the lava.
I am waiting for more fluorescent orange paint to arrive to fix it.
And I had to increase the height of the basin edges around the lava to give me enough space to add more tinted scenics water.
Since I was adding edge height , I decided to make the basin edges have more variation for hopefully better visual interest.

I will post more pics after I add the new lava layer.

I sincerely appreciate all the viewers who hang in there with me during my typical one step forward and two (three?) steps back process!

No, thank you. You're chronicling what the rest of us experience. You're being the man behind the curtain revealing to others what is normally unseen behind the flashy build-ups.

Your build logs are absolute gold. The CH would be the poorer without them.
