Karloff-Pierce Tribute

#1 Post by dklange »

Like most monster modelers, the Janus "Karloff-Pierce" tribute kit holds a pretty special place as a "really want" kit, and like most of us, the price for one of those kits is way beyond what I am willing to pay. So, I had great anticipation when Typhon Studios announced their rendition of a Karloff and Pierce tribute. And, with Jeff Yagher as the sculptor, how could it be better?! So, here's my rendition of the "Karloff-Pierce" tribute kit.

That's a superb piece of work, especially the skin tones, an outstanding result and a great tribute to the groundbreaking make up of Pierce and Karloff at his finest!

Cheers,
Paul

Excellent all around!

Considering what is was like sitting in Jack Pierce's makeup chair, I can't decide who's scarier - him or the monster! :)
