My Graveyard Scenes

#1 Post by tay666 »

For those who are unaware, Graveyard Scenes are a line of bases and figures meant to compliment the Monster Scenes kits.
Which is why I am posting in this forum, even though they are all resin parts.

This thread is where I will post all my completed pieces.
Recently, I finished all the bases that are going on one shelf in my display.

Another one I am calling done is Vampirella.
I finished the base along with all the other earlier this year. And I put a painted figure on it that I bought from Steve Ross back in 2016.
I had always intended to strip and repaint it, but at this point, I am just going to call it done. The Vampirella is the Scary Terry version that had a very short run back in 2009.

That's it for the figures that are done right now.
So, the next batch of posts is just going to feature the bases that are done.

Somehow I forgot to take pics of some of the bases until today (1/19/25)

Neat pieces, nicely photographed This is the kind of stuff I particularly enjoy about our hobby.

Didn't our buddy Rick Evans sculpt many of those bases?

Pretty sure he did all the bases. Which is why his logo is on all the boxes.

Only one I wasn’t able to get was the Vampire Hunter figure and base. Have all the rest. Hopefully someday one will turn up so I can complete my series.

Finally finished another one for this series.
(more or less. Still trying to knock down that shine on him. I have tried Krylon. I have tried dullcote. I have tried dullcote through the airbrush. Still no luck)
Frankenstein

It's actually the MOTM Frank on a GS base. It was the only place I could figure to put another MOTM Frank with his foot raised like that.
All my MS Franks will be inside the dungeon proper.
