Frankenstien in B/W..

#1 Post by Glusniffer »

Well here's the 5th kit in my glow box recollection. Even with all the re-pops available now daddy Frank still fetches a high dollar so I elected to score a built one off the Bay, but even after I got a repro box I still dropped a pretty penny on this one. And I spent considerable time stripping it. I got it down to just a stained look but the tombstone was mopped with old enamel. It was glued pretty well and I had to heat up the x-acto to cut the boots off so I could get to the base. As with the other 4 this my 3rd go. The 1st I remember building with the glow parts with no paint. It was so cool sitting on the shelf when the lights went out! 8) The 2nd was PL kit that I still have but several years ago I bashed it into a Marvel comics version. Bummer I didn't get to enjoy the re-build but this is a really great kit for a grayscale go. Kinda crazy that this old dude is 2 years older than me and ended up on my shelf. Probably was only 99 cents also. :?

My pallete.
