Well of course, Trevor, I expected YOU to have one! That goes without saying.

I was just trying to give a helping hand to the other brothers who may be wanting.

And no, Monsters in Motion is paying me nothing. I'm strictly "charity pimping".

It does look super cool though. If I was a fan, you know it would already be on its way to me in San Antonio.

Today, it was announced that Nicko McBrain will be retiring from Iron Maiden



Apparently, the band will continue without him



It is sad, but not unexpected. Nicko hasn't been the same since his stroke. Not his fault, he has been a trooper through all of this, but it is clear he isn't up to touring anymore. Good to hear he is aware, and is stepping back and going to take it easier and hopefully enjoy his other projects and have a bit more free time for fun.

As to the band continuing. I know, Nicko isn't the original drummer, and they have replaced just about everyone at some point. But do they really need to keep going at this point without him? How many more albums / tours do they really have left in them?

Nicko is only stepping back from touring, not writing / recording.

My Son has been busy learning new tricks over the last 2 months - this was part of my Christmas present.

BTW - as Trev is aware (but the rest of you may not be) - this is one of the "Maiden Minis" set and stands just 40cm (1½") head-to toe . . . he's rather good at this (already!)

Thanks for the reminder - I meant to watch it on the day it was uploaded, but then completely forgot (hey - I'm an old geezer too! )

Little off key at the start, but understandable given no warm-up and likely nerves.

I believe this was off their 9th studio album - "Fear of the Park" ?

Feeling a little emotional right now - well . . . after all . . . this band has been with me for a long LONG time!

Absolutely amazing - this has been put together SO well.

At least I know what I'm doing for the rest of the evening (along with my FILLED ever-trusty Senjutsu tankard) . . . and I suspect the weekend might now be spoken for too!
