Motion activated LEDs

#1 Post by overspray »

I stumbled upon this fun bit of gear and am really enjoying it. I've got 2 lit kits wired to it such that when I enter the room they both light up. It's the simple things in life! Eventually I'll try to get all my lit kits wired together (someday).

I got it from Evans Designs, but I'm sure you can find something similar someplace else.

Supposedly it will run 30 LEDs, but just make sure you use AA or AAA batteries (not a coin cell).

And the youth, mistook by me,
Pleading for a lover's fee.
Shall we their fond pageant see?

Finally ordered mine today. The Lowbudget Model Museum just got a significant upgrade!

People would walk in on movie nights and immediately their jaws would drop while I'd be running around throwing little switches behind the lighted models. Now they can walk in and it'll immediately look perfect!
