Started painting , threw on base color and first stain.
Lots of clean up and detailing to do.
Will add some different colors to break up the monotony.

As I've said - this is your best creature paint-up to date. My first thought upon seeing this today was:
"I wonder if I can get Joe to come down here for a week and paint up my gigantic kitbashed Brachiosaurus when I'm done 'bashing it" (We'll take the Missus around town and show her the sights while you slave. )
P.S. You can join us as soon as you get done (that's called "incentivization" )
Thank you for the very kind words Vlad, but I still think my Demigorgon paint up is my best so far.
I am fairly happy with this paint up, and I am hoping that I don’t over-paint this guy as I frequently do and then have to start over.
Hah, and as far as painting your monster brachio bash goes, well, that would take me a heck of a lot longer than a week!!

No worries - BIG TX house, 4 guest bedrooms - you're retired, ain'tcha? (Ever hear the term "Snow Birds"?)

Thank you Vlad and Trevor for following this bash and for the positive feedback.
Trying glass eyes for the first time.
Working on Repainting top of tail as the bone scutes were too dark and looked like wood versus bone
Adding larger bone scales along tail to tie in and match the ones along the neck.

Looking pretty good.
Personally, I think that upper lid should cover just a bit more of the top of the eye. I understand being conservative. It's easier to add a bit more putty, than it is to remove it. But I think a bit more eye lid will sink the eye in and make it more natural.
Thank you for the helpful feedback. I will work some more on the eyes

I did not like the bone scales that I added along the sides of the tail.
So I cut those off and now reworking the tail and back of thighs.
Added large scales to the base of the tail that look more like the shoulder scales.
