I just binged Bad Monkey. What a hoot!

The series is based on Carl Hiaasen's novel of the same name (if you haven't read his books your missing out) and stars Vince Vaughn. This is a role meant for Vince Vaughn.

He's a screw-up cop (soon to be ex-cop) who can't let go of a case of a man who's missing and presumed dead.

The whole thing takes place in Florida and the Bahamas.

Recommendation #2 - Slow Horses.

British spy drama/comedy (mostly drama) about a unit of MI5 agents who've been demoted for one reason or another and left to rot in dead-end unit. But of course the unit becomes deeply involved in sensitive operations.

Gary Oldman leads a solid cast as the cantankerous leader of the unit.
