Here is a resin kit about 8.5 inches tall to top of the head by Beninside Studios of Thailand. Here is a video:

That came out great. Love this sculpt, so much movement and detail.
At first I didn't notice the highlighting, but once you mentioned it in the video, I can't not see it.
So subtle, but so well done.

Thanks so much, I was hoping it would show at least a little!

It does show. Like I said, once you see it, you can't not see it.
And I think that subtlety works wonderfully. So many builds over-do the light shining on things (or maybe I have spent too much time looking at miniature builds).

I also really like how well this works with the Rodan kit. The pose really works with a flying adversary.

I really like the work Beninside has been doing. Really packing the detail into the sculpts. I'd love to see them put out a Behemoth.

I have the Monster Rage Behemoth, hoping to sell my build up someday. Beninside is working on the 93 Fire Rodan now, available end of the year I think.

That's a lovely build and paint there Jon, really like the details of the mouth and face and your
subtle colour work with the reflected light on his upper arms. Looks very effective facing
the Rodan creature, are you going to make a base for him?

I was seriously considering getting the 2019 Godzilla kit Beninside designed this Kong to go with,
but with shipping from Thailand to the UK, sadly it was just too much :( If I win the lottery then happy days!

Cheers,
Paul

Thanks Paul,
No I think for now I will leave him as stand alone. I have a few dioramas I would still like to build, but I have such limited space I need to sell things and or limit what I do as far as bases.

There is a 3rd option.
Add more space :D

(I know, not always a reasonable option)

Amazing pose, and build Jon!!! =D> =D> =D>

Best of all, you can pose him against any manner of Kaiju beastie and have the scene look good!
