Good painting.
I think of Rick Baker when I see the closeup pictures showing the eyes.

That brings back memories of a rubber Kong I got around the movie's release.

As Scott Johansen would agree - this is an EXCELLENT build and sculpt - of THE WORST KONG from THE WORST KONG FILM OF ALL TIME ... but hey - if you are a Kong collector ... you'd STILL have to get one ... :thumb2:

Can't agree with you there B-A. I reckon that honor goes to the sequel of sorts, 'King Kong Lives' (1986). Kong may have lived but it smelt otherwise. Besides the Rick Baker suit and his performance, Jeff Bridges and John Barry's score were all good contributions.

I was spared the horror never having seen that one ... but Linda Hamilton BY HERSELF saved THAT one, if I am not mistaken ... :mrgreen2:

Na, you're mistaken. :D Or are we talking about a Terminator movie? Anyhow this is probably not the right place for this discussion. Sorry DisturbedEarth0.

Linda Hamilton is DEFINITELY the female lead. Whether her eye candy value was enough to save the film is open to debate. 😂
