A lovely job typical of your builds JOHN ROBINSON. Quite an achievement given the reality of this kit. The first picture is a gem. Nice digital jiggery-pokery.

I've abandoned mine having only put the lower hull segments together. The difficulty of aligning all the segments, the gaps that resulted and a general wavering in the dish was enough for me, especially when I then considered where I was going to display the d*mn thing. I also don't care for the shape of the upper dome. So I've built the Polar lights and the Skyhooks C-57s and for a larger version I have the old Lunar Models vacform kit with accessories kit of blaster batteries, tractor, crew, fence and Id monster that I plan to get to soon.

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful job! Love the lighting and the diorama. What paint did you use for the hull?
