Shane Foulkes' Postosuchus

#1 Post by Crazy Joe »

Hey there YET AGAIN, ye fanz of the beeg and skaylee -

NOT a dinosaur here, but a crocodylomorph from the Truculent Triassic - the top predator of it's day. Been waiting a LONG TIME to finish this up, and I'm quite pleased with the results.

Nice1
I really like the darker tones. And the patterning works great with it.
Gives it a few pops of lighter skin to contrast.

The Postosuchus looks great, but the base caught my eye as well. The vegetation has a really nice and natural look to it.

Interesting that you'd mention that - it's really important to me that the bases of my models compliment the figure that's on 'em - I spend a lot of time modifying plastic plants that you get from craft stores to resemble something that COULD be growing back in prehisterical days... thanks Dude!!!
