Rest in peace CHARLES KIBBY, CK in SD
Big, friendly fellow, Charles used to be active here and Statue Forum. Battled covid for the last month.

Thanks for letting us know Todd.
I hardly knew Charles, but although he hasn't posted here in a while, I remember his animated avatar well because it really stood out.
Checking his profile (http://theclubhouse1.net/phpBB3/memberl ... file&u=130), he was only 54 ?!? - wow!
The photo below is from the 2011 Wonderfest.
Sorry to hear of his passing, and the way it happened. Condolences to his friends & family.

I don't believe I ever had the pleasure of meeting him, but condolences to his family, and to everyone here that did know him.

Hung out with big Charles at wonderfests and 2 nyc comic cons. The man was a mountain and a gentle giant. His laughter could be heard from all around. He was a good family man and loved his comics and statues. A big venom fan and had ink to sport it. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. You will be missed my friend. I will see you at the big convention in the sky one day.

bucketfoot-al wrote: ↑July 13th, 2025, 8:17 pm Good Lord, he was only 59 according to his profile.
I have to ask - was he ill already, or was it 'just COVID'? Cause its now supposed to be a milder variant compared to 2020-21?
Rest in Peace.

You know, it looked kind of familiar. Mea Culpa for missing the obvious date.
