OK. So I got the final piece up. I spent more time trimming it so I wouldn't have the blend it in so much. Also I painted the underside of the shelves. I'm 6 ft. so when I enter the room I cant see under but when I sit at my desk I can. Soooo... 8)

More progress. Got my mainframe done. Had to alter it a little because it's gonna take up to much room plus it would have made it difficult to reach the upper shelves. Looks crooked because of the angle but it's level. If all goes to plan I can finish this tomorrow but there's a 50% chance of rain..... :?

So for now I just laid down some green and even though I'm far from any real placement I wanted to take a shot to get a feel for it. In fact what I'd like to do is get a pic of all the original kits in the original configuration like my old table. Now I just have to dig all the bases out of storage where they've been for 20 years. I know there's gonna be a lot of re-gluing and touching up but I plan to leave them in the state I first painted them. The original layout was goofy anyway and with all the add-ons over the years this table wouldn't fit em all anyhow. :?

O-tay so I'm still looking for the Ceratopsian bases. This pic shows what I meant about the weird placement of the bases. If you zoom and look at the bottom left of the awesome color 1971 map you can see the proposed lay-out of the 1st eight kits. Doesn't look right. The Cro-man and Neanderthal are facing away and the Flying Reptile is just in the way of the Tarpit. I think that's why when they came out with the 2nd round of kits they made alternate locations of said kits so they faced forward. B/W map.

Still haven't located my missing bases. But I got a shot of all the original 17 kits in configuration with the Cro and Neando in the alternate locations.

Now I can play! But 1st I wanted to gets some pics of some of the add-ons including my own. This shows were I removed the Cro, Swamp and Ptero bases and added others. This Includes the Iguanadon bases and a another Swamp base I made into a tar-pit as it connects the Iggy base.

These show how the Proto and Raptor join the party with another Neando base fitted to Big Bird.
