Hunchback of Notre Dame

#1 Post by dklange »

Finally got around to working on the Box Art version of The Hunchback of Notre Dame from Pestilence Labs. Always was one of my most favorite of the Aurora kits back in the day. Mark and Jeff Yagher did an awesome job with this kit and it was a blast to build and paint!

This looks like the version that got the least love over the years - namely, Anthony Quinn as the hunchback.

In the pecking order of hunchbackery, Lon Chaney Senior is first, then Charles Laughton, with Quinn a distant third.

Nonetheless, an excellent hunchback and an even better kit!

Beautiful build up! πŸ‘πŸ‘€πŸŽŠπŸŽ‡πŸ”₯πŸ’₯πŸͺ„πŸŽ‰πŸŒŸβš‘πŸ’«βœ¨

Great job! I like the different coloring scheme you used.

I have this kit as well. It's BIG, and it's HEAVY!

Looks amazing! Always love seeing your work.

(And I learned a new word: hunchbackery. I would add a few names to the pecking order, but they weren't in any of the films.)

Ah, Anthony Quinn. I knew that face rang a bell. 8) But seriously that is a great likeness.

Great job as usual Denis. The Hunch is great but what particularly impresses me is your rendering of the platform and the tower.
