Also, Your inventory effort inspired me to spend the last two days going through all my boxes of miscellaneous kitbashing parts, organizing them, and taking photos so I know what I have and don’t have to search through a bunch of various boxes when I need an arm, claw, head, leg, weapon , etc..
Glad to hear about your organization.
I have found it saves a ton of time. No matter how long it takes to organize, it ends up saving at least twice that in future time savings.

Youse guys have had an effect on me too ... while my model stash hardly needs paring down (yet) with well under 100 unbuilt kits, I have decided that I will sell off my small-ish 1:40 scale dinosaur figure collection ... once we get back from our upcoming vacation the first week of October ... that will free up some shelf space for some larger 1/35 dinos (which will also get pared down) and also model kits all without needing to buy more shelves ... and make future dusting upkeep much simpler ... (I can't believe I will be saying "Sayonara" to my complete Battat dinosaur collection - which I sold off ... wait for it ... wait for it ... TWICE before over the past 21 years, only to reacquire it after each time ... but this time I absolutely, positively, mean it!!! :rolf: ) :mrgreen2:

Just a bit of an update.
In the last 2 months since I wrapped the inventory and started selling kits off.
I have sold 10 kits so far.
I have finished 3 kits
And I just purchased 2 more kits last night, and one last month.

So, I have cleared more kits than I have bought, so I am still ahead of the game.
Hope to get back into the swing of selling next week. Things were hot-and-heavy at the start, then I kind of lost momentum with things going on here at home.

Keep going! I have actually finished three projects since coming home myself and identified about a half a dozen kids that I know I'll never build for dispasition. 😁

Next I'm going to tackle painting the gigantic Sauroposeidon bash. I'm using your example as inspiration to push through. 👍🤩

Oops!
I did it again.
Just bought another kit.
In my defense though, it is one I have been wanting for years. And I had the cash sitting in my PP account thanks to my earlier sales.
Which was kind of another goal of this. I am not actually spending money on kits as I am using the proceeds from my sales. And it should be complete by xmas as I will throw it directly on the bench and get to work on it.
