They came out great! I'll be looking out for the custom base.

I decided I am not going to go for anything custom.
Think it's just going to end up being an oval base. But that will still look a lot better than this wooden one.
(as long as they fit well on a 170mm base)

Yeah, that is why on my page for the kit, I included some pics from the actual movie to refresh people's memories.

Should have the crew on their new base by the end of the weekend. It finally came in, and I got it painted. Now I just have to nail down placement and pin and glue.

Love what you’ve done with this Trev. Very nice job. It’s as if you took the original flat 2 dimensional characters and transported them into a 3 dimensional reality where they were then frozen in a stasis field. The washes and shading make them look very realistic.

Honestly, the biggest key I believe was using the marker to black-line everything.
Once I outlined all the different areas it looked like a completely different kit.
It gave everything definition and separated all the colors in a nice crisp deliniation.
