Hi Steve, thanks for the feedback! I am also very happy with the stance and overall “vibe”.

I am hoping to duplicate the same flesh tone as on my Demigorgon bash (see pics).
I am going for a reddish tone on the legs , but with some yellow/orange highlights.

Still not sure what , if any, creature I will pair with this guy. Maybe just a stand alone since I like the pose so much.

Going with Squiddy’s preference of 3 claws vs 2.
Changed toe claw positions and roughed in 3rd .
Still have to slim them all down a bit.

Working on slimming down and detailing the feet.
Beefed up calves on lower leg segments for more symmetry with upper leg segments, and better scale with new feet.

Good call! I meant to mention it yesterday (that the feet looked kind of ... FAT ). The reworked feet look more natural with the rest of the figure - not cartoony.

Slimmed down the feet and lower leg segment

Time to move onto the painting phase

Cut the hump out of the lower middle back
Added spikes further down the back
Refined details around the base of each spike

Added a few more skin lesion bumps here and there

I think this bash is now ready for painting phase

Scuzz, yes, I do plan to put a glass eye in him.

I always wait until painting is pretty much done before adding a glass eye so that I do not get paint on the eye.
