Just picked up...

the 1:64 Kilmer and Clooney Batmobiles from Hot Wheels. Very nice. They come screwed onto a black base with a removable clear acrylic cover.
I'll grab a pic next time I upload.
Some of these little Hot Wheels Batmobles are very highly detailed and very well made. It's excellent to see quality go up for a change.

I didn't know Hot Wheels made Batmobiles. That sounds cool. I think I'll keep a look out for them. Thanks for the heads up, Chop.

Cool! These HAVE to be different from the ones Ertl came out with when the movies were new. Are there any pix?

I don't have a pic uploaded yet.
These are not your father's Ertl 1:64s. LOL. These are gorgeous. Above and beyond Hot Wheels usual standard. These, and a Keaton car Tom gave me, are the finest 1:64s I've ever seen. Not toy-like like the Tumbler. I mean exact miniature replicas. They're amazing. Even the different rims and tires of the various models are duplicated. I don't collect any other scale, because of space, so these are great. With the Johnny Lightning kits, the JF 1966, these, and the Tumbler, it's possible to have all the decades from the 40s/50s until now. Not as complete as the Corgi line, but pretty close.
