Making a 2 foot by 1 1/2 foot box, 4 inches deep. Set up horizontally, like a window box dio. Back wall with atomic pile. Raised relief. The rest stone/rock. Plexiglas face, with 3-4 inches of cut wood "stalagmites/tites" to cover lights shining down. On the bottom "shelf" of the box, all the 1:64 Batmobiles. 1940s, 1960s, 1966, 1989, and missile, 1st animated, Kilmer, 2nd animated, Clooney, and the Tumbler. And a Crooze or custom or 2. I have to see the room left after layout.
Sounds like a fun project, and will free up some bench space getting alot of the diecasts on the wall.

Just finished reading the Hush books, and what you are doing
sounds like one of the pics in the Batcave where they show like
12-15 Batmobiles all stack up nicely waiting for Batman to drive them.
What cool is all of them from are the Movies, Cartoons, and TV Show
from the 60s and model kits.
It thought at would make for one cool Dio.

That's kinda what I'm going for. I have them laid out and the bottom needs to be at least 8 inches, so the cars can be truly seen well. So the sides will be triangles of plexi, as well as the plexi front. This will be more stylized than realistic. Thinking of the back being a pine board so I can engrave the atomic pile center, cove w/poles and T-Rex left, large penny right, then paint. Foam was an option, but I like the sturdiness of the wood to keep it all together. It would be kinda flimsy if the back was foam.
Anyay, gotta collect some materials. And get started!
