#1 Post by AntMan »

Hello,

I have just completed my report on this year's Halloween Chiller Theatre Show.

You can view the very well crafted prose along with my most excellent pictorial guide by going here:

As usual a very detailed and enjoyable write-up Tony... I always look forward to your writeups on the shows. Let's me get a real good idea of what I missed by not being able to attend.... 8)

Thanks for putting the time and effort to do it...

M-M,

Thanks! You are too kind, kind sir.

H-B-M,

Thank you as well! (Which one is your little "Tarman?")

Rick, thank you (about the awards!)
When I was viewing that "Killer Klown" bust, I myself kept thinking:
"I love Killer Clowns! There is just something very Warped about them."

Sassy's wasn't there. I believe that was Village Comics.

I never even got to see the model contest. Work kept me from attending until Sunday.

H-B-M,

Thanks for the update. I've been seeing Wayne's "Tarman" forever, but never knew what it was called.

N-O,
Thank you! (I'm glad that I've finally completed it.)

Shane, thanks for the correction. (I'll have to go back and do some editing on my report. (Where were you working at?)

Shawn,

So, that was your Locutus?

You did one heck of a job on it!

In addition, I really liked that base & light fixture you added. It really brought the whole display/scene to life!

Thanks C-T and Gforcemodels!

SCULLY1953, you'll have to let me know your "trade secret" for setting up that rear lighting unit?

Tony,

Friday night I was working at Rich Hanf's House of the Living Dead haunted attraction here on the island, I believe we will be setting up a booth or something at the January Chiller. Saturday afternoon I was doing makeup on a half dozen zombies fort the film whose trailer is in my sig line, Hey You've got Zombies in your Backyard, then right to work at the haunted house Saturday night. Sunday morning early painting up a few private clients for Halloween festivities and then off to Chiller for the day to blow way too much money but it is always worth it, and then back to the haunted house to work the night shift. I know it seems crazy but my philosophy is sleep when you're dead.

Tony, no secret my friend.
I bought a mini plasma light and ran some flex tubing around the outer edge and just mounted it above the dio and figure. It's battery operated.

Hey Tony,

Thanks for the great write up! I feel like I've "almost" been to Chiller now. Congrats on the wins. You did a great job on that Steel, so it was nice to see him again. :D
