#1 Post by deanot99 »

Hi all,

Was wondering if anyone knows if anybodys going to be at Memro selling kits as I was wondering whether its worth a visit or not ive not been for a couple of years and it seems the kit sellers were in decline the last time I was there only a couple of tables selling kits in the whole place.

Cheers

Hey Dean

I wouldn't bother going to be honest , as there are not many kits there , well not original anyway.
I only go when there is a few sighing's i want just to make it worth going as it costs me £50.00 with the train fayre and entry fee.
The last time i went about 4 years ago i ended up buying some retro n64 stuff and halo figures as there were no kit's , just painted recast,s , one guy had a load of screamin kits so i ran over to the table hoping to buy something , first of all he was like they are very rare and wanted ok money for them ,until i asked to look int the boxes and he was like oh! oh! they are recast's in original boxes , so be very cafefull as to the untrained eye theses looked ok as they were white vinyl copies and people new to the hobby would just buy them.

If you do go i hope you find some nice kits.

At the lock up he was renting for the last year or so at Radway Green. As of this weekend, no more. I think I took away more freebies than stuff I paid for. There was a load of lads coming down today, clearing the shop and then the door closed for good. Shame really.

Dean - No, this is not the end of Killer Kits, it is just Dave trying to sort himself out along with addressing a lot of issues referred to on another thread. For various reasons I won't bore you with the guy is trying to push an elephant up hill everyday, but this closure is more of a tactical withdrawal. Killers will be around, don't you worry.

Hey Artbean - It took Dave and me two trips to the car to get it all in, I still have no idea where to put it all  Well done on that Cooler King kit, I had one of those (Sold it to Dean here funnily enough during a clear out) and I was eyeing up that Die Hard as well. Even though I have one, I fancied a diorama and a bit of kit bashing.

Still, happy days....

Let's hope so Mark. It would be great to hear from Dave that he has used the income from this to set things straight with everyone.

Sounds like everyone had a good time.
It is a damn shame what heppened and hope this all get's smoothed over.
But if he was stuck im sure people on the clubhouse could have helped out , would have borrowed him a couple of hundred quid , but he just did not answer my call's or PM'S.
I know i have said some harsh things on other post's but i hope everything will get sorted out for everyone including Dave.
And i hope he does not loose buisness over the past event's.

Glad you all got the kit's you wanted.

Jay
