Next concert on the calandar

#1 Post by tay666 »

Will probably hear crickets chirping over this show in this forum but I am psyched.
Shinedown and Papa Roach co-headlining in Erie PA. Dec 6th.

Already got my tix today. General admission floor for me and Britny. (yep, it worked out that she doesn't have any finals the day after.)

Both these bands have some good tunes.I especially like "Getting away with murder" by Papa Roach, and their whole first cd.Did`nt care for when they turned Emo though.
Shinedown has some good tunes too.
Thanks,Anthony

Speaking of crickets chirping here...

I'm quite excited about a reunion show of local greats Goober & The Peas.

Many years ago I used to see 'em all the time. Always a fun, silly show (Jack White was once the drummer) "Goober" went on to form Blanche (Very different)

Wouldn't call them Emo, though I might have missed that phase of their carrier.

Even their more 'chick type songs' come across a lot better live

Then again, they have such a high energy show that everything comes across better live.

Wish they would have done this at the show I went to.
But it is still a cool performance.

You actually know Dee?

If so, tell him to quit playing White Lion on his radio show!

Nah - not PERSONALLY, although we have met before/after various gigs over the years.

It's been a LONG time since I last saw him OR the band so it will be great to introduce him to the family if the opportunity arises. A true gentle giant with an awesome wit and intelligence.

LOL on the "White Lion" thing ....
