It's 94 miles to Northwich, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Thought it was a great day again.

I can just spend 6 hours in awe of the level of work, and amazed at how friendly everyone is. I was going to highligth some of the truly marvelous people and work I saw there, but feel that it would be difficult not to miss anyone out, and the sculpting, painting and scratchbuilding by everyone was tremendous and everyone deserves respect for it.

So I would like to say a huge thanks to Dave and the rest of his team for organizing it, and would recommend it to anyone for next year. For us UK enthusiasts, I cannot possibly say how important it is for us to support and advertise our hobby in the best way possible, and this show does just that.

The venue was a bit small, and some way to expand it would be spangly, but the craft facilities and shops, including a fun fair for the little ones seemed to be a good place. Cafe, restaurant and Dave's shop.

Only real gripe is the plan of the site. There were large numbered plans in prominent places to help you find everything on site, just a shame there were no keys for the plan, so you could find Unit 21,10 etc 4easily, but had no idea what was actually in unit 10. This is nothing at all to do with UKGK, but the actual venue ste map. I just found it made me chuckle with a WTF?? type of moment.

As for the venue, while small I felt it had charm and character, and did add to the atmosphere.

Although I believe for next year, Reaper (of Grymm Designs) has asked for a stairlift to help his aging legs. :)

Had a good time at the show - got some pics to sort out later!

Great to meet a few new faces even if I had no idea what your clubhouse handle was! I'm rubbish at introductions. We need a who was who gallery!!

That Gizmo was really good. It was also solid and weighed about a stone. Totally realistic.

Cracking day out and nice to put faces to names - but some faces should stay behind the internet!!!

Missed out on a couple of good kits through bad show tactics, but bagged a Boxerdog "Taken" and a Killers "Lone Wolf" and "Reaper" which are hoofing kits.

My legs hurt like buggery and my back is aching from standing/talking/mooching but a hoofing day and all my very best to Dave, Rach, Keeeff, Wolfy, Borat, Artbean, Bodie and the other nutters.

Roll on next year!
