Thanks B-A, Trevor and Ian for your feedback!
As much as I like dragons, I agree with you guys that not using the dragon horns is the best approach for this bash.

Finished detailing the new head.
Base coated the new head.
Had to re-base coat the armor headdress, hair , leather straps and shoulder armor as they got roughed up during head replacement.
I will repaint the armor headdress gold and add the blue hair stripes back in.
Also had to repaint the tunic as it was very smudged up by too much handling during these changes.
On the home stretch to finishing now!

Looking good ... for a guy who says he doesn't like painting, you're sure doing an awesome job with the nuances on this puppy ...

Now don't forget the "Blue Hair" ...

Thanks.
The hair is blue, it’s just bad lighting for the photos.
After I paint the eyes, I will take better pics.

The hair on top looks jet black. The dreadlocks have a slight bluish tinge to them. I would make the blue brighter and even out the color of the top of the hair with the Dreads. (Have you thought of using metallic blue for the hair touch-ups? Might look interesting and add to the other-wordly vibe of Sobek*. I would probably try it out on a sample of resin before deciding to put it on the figure.:)

* "Sobek" was the Egyptian name for the Crocodile-headed deity. Might want to consider using it in the build title once its ready to "be entered" somewhere. :alcoholic:

Thanks for the croc-god reference !

Started working the eyes

Need to decide on just painting simple dragon-slit like pupil , or try for more human like eye with round iris and round pupil …ugh

Oh that last head-on view is F-d up!!!   AWESOME!! :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2:

Eye color red is PERFECT. I would go with Crocodile eye slits (Croc Head, Croc Eye). It will be a lot creepier looking. Click this link and check 'em here:

Looking good from here!! Right eye looks perfect - left eye looks like it might need some thinning on the bottom to match the right ...
