Thanks!
Ok, just gotta tone the back of legs down a bit more , and a little more dry brushing left to do, and the Hell Hound is done.
Then onto the death dealer…

When I first saw the rework, I said "oh no, that beautiful paint job", but this may be even better!

Thanks guys!

I am getting better at re-creating original paint jobs after I mess it up by additional modifications or just over-painting.
(Probably because I have had so much practice due to my frequent mess ups!)

After THIS MASTERPIECE, you are no longer allowed to complain about your painting skills :mrgreen2: - because this is absolutely at the level of any of the "Masters of The Hobby" (at least as far as creatures go - human figures present their own set of challenges). No one could have done a better job on this creature than you have done here!!!!

Thank you for the very kind words Overspray and Vlad.

I still have some dry brushing to do for the Hell Hound, but went ahead and started blocking in base colors for Death Dealer.

Slowly making progress on death dealer.
I gotta pick up the pace as I am way behind where I need to be to get my 5 planned kits for Wonderfest done.

That is looking really, really good - meaning the paint up of the "Death Dealer" ... wonder why the sculptor made the head so small, though?

I think the problem is that I made the resculpted right arm too big versus the head being too small.
I have been debating reworking the right arm , but hoping that after I get painting done, it will not look too out of proportion.

You might as well just do it.
You know you are going to anyway. No matter how well the paint hides it, it's gonna bug you.

:-k But is the arm really too big? Or do you mean too long? Because girth-wise, it looks no bigger than the left arm. Same with the fists. Or is it an optical illusion of the camera I'm seeing?
