Saw it this week end too... I have to echo the bad comments, i felt like Tarantino was trying to remake reservoir dogs into a western and missed on all the good points from it.
The dialogue is ok i guess, but from Tarantino i expect more then ok dialogue and specially in a movie that is all one big exercise in dialogue and nothing else on top, what really was average and mostly sucked were the characters... nothing imaginative about them, the back stories are nonexistent and told badly, this is why in my opinion it failed.
No comment on Morricone, the music was nowhere near anything special, really sorry to say this as i love Morricone scores in all the movies he s done.
Still i think the bottom of his career is deathproof. Nothing beats the disappointment i had when i watched it.

He said he ll make 10 movies in total, so 2 more shots at doing something better :D ...yeah I am a positive guy ;)

FINALLY got to watch this - really enjoyed it.

It also made me backtrack & watch Django Unchained.

H8 gets a 7/10 - would have been 9/10 but the flashback/background pieces were not as well inserted/handled as they could have been.

DU gets a 9/10 - AWESOME movie. Love the justice around all of it (excepting the Mandingo fight and the dog scene).

I think I need to reconsider watching the KB's - and maybe some of the others 8)

Finally saw this film. A retelling of Stagecoach, except the latter was more entertaining
