Re: What did everyone buy at the show?
I bought no kits whatsoever -just some sculpting supplies. One of these days I'll come to Wonderfest when I'm not broke!

Thanks Resin Addict and Rocketeer - good tips on the advertising front. We're a new outfit and not all the i's are crossed and t's dotted just yet. Our email is bammodelkits@gmail.com if anyone has questions about the Dude. As a new member of this forum I don't think I can say much promotionally, but it's an 8 piece kit plus the custom printed rug and miniature white russian. It really ties a room together.

Re: What did everyone buy at the show?
Matt said he was selling it for someone else who didn't want their name out there.
So I'm just calling it unknown producer.

I got my Billiken Syngenor kit (my first garage kit, got from John Green in the '80s) signed by Bill Malone. He also signed my Hallmark Robby the Robot ornament box and a Robby "Atomic Robot" poster. Super great guy who graciously signed all items no charge.

Re: What did everyone buy at the show?
I've never spent less, or brought home less than I have this year. I've just about maxxed out on space for unbuilt kits, let alone display space, which I hope to remedy later this year. With that said, I brought back to the JoeJoe Dojo this year -
Filmy's Girls' Freya -
BlackHeart's Angelique -
Cretaceous Creation's Albertosaurus
Jimmy Flintstone's Sith Babe
a sack of 1/8th assorted heads that Britny helped me pick out from Jimmy Flintstone just cause.
Iwata Professional Airbrush tool kit
USS Enterprise (the retired aircraft carrier) Cafeteria tray
AND -
Best Master Class award from the Naked Raisin Attack....Thanks everyone who voted...

Re: What did everyone buy at the show?
My main purchase was sort of a grail kit (at least to me): Blade II from Forbidden Zone (see the Model Museum for examples, like this one by Steve Parke http://museum.theclubhouse1.net/submiss ... tblade.htm). I couldn't really afford it when it was in production many years ago. Then, the next time I got to WonderFest, it was OOP and I couldn't find it at all. Can't remember whose table it was on, but there was a cleaned-up and primed kit of the Daywalker from someone's private collection. My radar immediately "blipped" when I saw that translucent red resin base!
Very happy to finally add this to my collection.
I also nabbed one of Joe Dunaway's Grow for Me kits, the "Audrey II" plant from Little Shop of Horrors (the medium-sized version). That film is a family favorite... I mean, we actually sing along to most of the tunes! So, this was a no brainer.
There was also a little alien bust I picked up from Collapse Industries, molded in a semi-opaque, flesh-colored resin. Looking forward to trying some new painting techniques with that one.
Great year all around at WF2016!!!

Re: What did everyone buy at the show?
Congrats on all your purchases - but I really replied to say how pleased I was to read that you got the Blade piece after so long waiting.
Good for you! Enjoy.
