Did the Giger colors you developed for GK's line work?

You should come come up with more Giger colors.

So here's a stupid question ... are the seminars going to be happening before or after Jerseyfest Academy?

Cause I REALLY want in on those as well as the class. :)

Are the seminars free? Or are they part of the classes you have to pay for. And if so is there anything else to do on friday which you dont have to pay for?

All the seminars in every show I've ever been to are free, this one is no different. The class, because of the kit and the supplies you get you have to pay for, but I'm sure that people would be allowed to check it out, ask questions and what not. :)

Hi Gary:

Demos during the Jerseyfest vendor show are free after you pay the $10.00 admission fee to enter the show. We have 5 scheduled throughout the day by super talented and well-known artists in the hobby. Exact times have not been announced yet.

On the day before the vendor show, which is Friday, August 3rd, we will have an all day event with professional seminars followed by a "hands on" class that you have to pay for and preregister for, which will include receiving a Black Heart "Curse of the Werewolf" bust, paints and supplies, and the opportunity to either bring your own, or buy a new airbrush and compressor at a highly discounted price. We will have drinks and snacks. People can not show up for this event just to listen in - they must preregister and pay for it. The cost for the day covers both the seminars plus the class, as well as the products.

See the info about Friday, Aug 3rd here, including how to register: http://jerseyfestfair.com/?page_id=47

See the Saturday, August 4th demo information here: http://jerseyfestfair.com/?page_id=64

Also, at the end of the vendor show on Saturday, August 4th, we will have a “Jerseyfest Hobby Forum” (again no extra charge) where great and long time contributors to the hobby will address a series of questions pertaining to the hobby’s past, present and future. Participants include:

Saul Alvarez
Scott Kelly of Alternative Images
Steve Parke of Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine
George Stephenson of Black Heart Enterprises Models
Mark Vantine
Mike Wallace of Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine
Terry Webb of Amazing Figure Modeler Magazine

Thanks for your interest.

Dave

Wow...that really is impressive. Such a huge compliment to not only George's bust, but everyone involved in putting this together from George himself, Jesse for his paints, Badger and most of all the Jerseyfest Staff!!! This is definitely going to be a great show!

Dave:

Rick Cantu is doing a painting seminar (life-sized Aliens bust) on Friday August 3rd which is included as part of the package for the day. During the vendor show the next day, he will be demoing painting a Gillman. He will also be demoing airbrushing a monster at the Iwata booth on and off throughout the whole day at the vendor show.

We all know Rick is among the most talented painters in the hobby and painter for AFM, so all of us attending are in store for a real treat!
