I don't hear much in terms of people picking broncos to win unless it's to see Peyton win his last game.
Should be good chess game of broncos playing similar to patriots... Rush 3 or 4, play wr at man, have a spy and contain Olsen as they did gronk for about 3 quarters.
Read a stat that broncos have given up 120 something yards on ground last two playoff games and one was a 40 yard end around by WR Bryant... Not too shabby!

It was a tough game for a lot of casual fans and fans not of those two teams....defensive games are boring to most, especially the superbowl. There was a point there in the 3rd quarter i turned to my buddies and said, "i think they are content to run out the clock and let the defense take over." I thought it was a dangerous play....still do. Those run, run, pass incompletes were killing me.

What an awful, terrible, boring-a$$ game. That is exactly what the Texans used to look like. Three and out, three and out, three and out, three and out, fumble, three and out, interception. Stout defense, stupid penalty, stupid penalty, sack, false start, three and out, three and out, sack, three and out. I told my wife, this is like watching the Texans play when Kubiak was here - JJ and the defense stops 'em a half yard short, offense runs the clock, draw play on third and 17, three and out, punt!

Denver converted ONE third down (out of fourteen!) the entire game!

Gah.

The Panthers got caught up in the Superman hype and believed their own press clippings. They thought they were the Team of Destiny and that they were invincible. They did not take the game seriously and learned the hard way that the old saw is true -

Defense wins championships.

That was pretty brutal to watch. Very boring. Defensive struggles can be fun, offensive sloppiness is not. Agree with Filmy. The Panthers seemed to play like "swagger" was all they needed to win. They'll learn from that.

I don't really care about Peyton one way or the other, but, I think I was happier for him than Eli appeared to be! Man, I hope he was having a bad case of heartburn or something when the camera caught him. Wow.

Welp. Fun season. Spring better come early. This is the worst part of winter. The part with no football.

I also thought Cam came out a little too jacked up.....on the first series he missed a wide open WR by quite a few....guy was wide open with no one around. He did that a couple of times. Then he threw one up for about 40 yards as a hope and it was caught as the guy was juggling it. so go figure.

Able to watch the highlights yesterday... definitely looked like anyone's
ball game right down to the end. (by the comments of those who actually
watched it live, both here and elsewhere, I believe the highlights were more
exciting!)
