the game is slowly getting watered down. Ratings down this year...
tackling looking more and more like High School/College games.

personally believe Fantasy Football is killing the sport. That, and every
down now leads to 3-4 commercials.

don't kid yourself...without fantasy football & vegas (and local bookmakers) there would be no NFL...

College Game still has the pure love of the sport so to speak ,once onto the Pro's then all the dumb sh@t begins will a lot of guys thinking there worth all kind of money ,Look at that A@@ Joey Bosa case in point, a kids game we all grew up playing and now most NFL players look and act no different the the gangs on the big city streets.
give me Roger Staubach and Lynn Swain,Terry the QB from Steele Town, and Mean Go Green any day.

just my 2 cents

I'd like to thank the NFL scheduling gang for giving us a preseason game
to help knock the rust off ol' Tommy!!

Nothing like going against a 4th string QB to get one's confidence back!

Wow! Good going Detroit... (didn't pick that one!!)

Ah phins... heehee

Go Vikings!!!! only 1 team left before we pop our champagne bottles up here!!

Atlanta beat Denv'a ??! wow! didn't pick that one neither!

Houston... heehee

I picked Fig Newton again... we'll see!

Thank goodness it's Sunday and I can relax with "Real Football". No nailbiting finishes. No actual upsets. Every team running the same offense, etc. It's so much more relaxing. I may even get a nap in. I don't think I could take another OSU/Wisconsin or Clemson/NC State. Of course,I'll have the prescribed dose of Bud Lights and Papa John's...gotta feed the corporate machine, y'know.
