Exciting news coming from you, Daniel. You can always follow in the footsteps of Erick Sosa. After working crazy on his business sculpts, his idea of relaxing is still sculpting his own stuff. Crazy Guy! :P Now, THAT is passion.

Oh! Good one Mz.Tart!

I've always thought she was attractive for an animated character (Belle from Beauty and the Beast being #1), but zoinks! she freaks me out. It's the best of both worlds!

Looking VERY good Jr!! However... You may want to recheck your references.. I believe she only had the standard 2 breasts in that movie and not 4.

Queen of The Damned is looking great! Keep it up!

Here's Malificent's face. Wanted her to look more cartoony but I'll keep at her!

I'm afraid she's looking a bit much like the V for Vendetta character equipped with a Jay Leno chin. I'm reworking the eyes to make them less fleshy. Her features in the toon are very sharp and angled. I'd the sculpt to look this way too.

Afton - I think Maleficient is looking quite good and true to that cartoon. Specially in the profile shot. As for re-working the eyes, maybe less of the upper eyelid? From the cartoon image the triangle(upper eyelid) seems smaller. You definitely captured the head shape, nose and lips. Transferring 2d to 3d is always hard for me. Specially if I don't get the turn around image source.

Thanks guys. This is it for her for now.
I learned a few things on this piece. I tried different approaches on doing the hands. One was the twisted wire technique and the the other was the quick gloved way. The wired one really showed promise for this scale. I just need more practice to get better at it. But I am pleased that I finally got the scale right for the hands.
Also, I really need to keep in the practice of turning the heads when doing portraits, specially the side view. It easily establishes certain features.
This is also the first time I used the key method to remove certain parts on this scale. It worked well when I was doing the hands and the detail. I didn't have to worry about damaging the already established head dress.
Finally, I don't know why I chose this figure since it had so much detail on it but I feel more comfortable with doing a figure like this again.
Considering that it took me a week to do this and even though there are some rough spots on the piece, i am pretty well pleased with how it came out.
