Re: UKGK - 28th SEPTEMBER 2013 - THE BLUE CAP INN, SANDIWAY
Been about a month since the show, Dusts all settled and itching to go again.
This years venue was bigger and better than last years, also there was a bar
Both and increase in Traders and Display Tables from last year, no way would we all fit into last years venue.
Fantastic exposure from the press and from Shane of Figure Painter Magazine who also judged the Competitions.
The producers this year really upped there game, both in terms of Quality and Display. Andy Cope's and Keith Cousin's tables both excelled in that respect.
The amount of kits on offer went through the roof, Killer Kits Table was Huge to say the least. which as a producer means I'm really going to have to up my game if it continues to grow like this. Luckily the boom in attendance level allowed me to shift a few bits lol
Was great to see a few different things on offer to, Immortal Cases and Displays really showed us a thing or two about making the best of our kits. Think I'll need to invest in a cool LED case from them soon
Displays from the Old guard and the lads from SFM:UK really where incredible, and Barry Ford's Fantastic paint-up's blew me away.
Think the only Major downside was there was no room left for a decent Competition set-up. still next years venue is rumoured to be bigger. Maybe then
Oh and Deano I'll have a word and see if I can get some pics up. I forgot my camera
