I was scared for Glenn the entire episode. It would have been a massive gotcha to see him survive then to die some pityful way. I thought something was going to get him when he was at the fence reading the note, or he would be accidentally shot by Enid.
I also never noticed that Steven Yeun's name was not in the opening credits on the previous three episodes.

Well done, raydrz.
worst part of last night's show: right after the glen scene, my cable went out during the title sequence... :cussing:

I liked this episode a lot, but what I am about to say is going to contradict that.

I really didn’t like how Glenn was saved. There was so much wrong with it.....first it was a bit goofy/cheesy for them.
They were surrounded by walkers and a fence with walkers on the other side…he falls, then scoots under the dumpster and the walkers leave him alone because of a can?
Check out these pics: with fence: https://i.imgur.com/uzXogl8.jpg

https://sourcererblog.files.wordpress.c ... =584&h=363

then he is surrounded by walkers when he falls…he is toward the bottom of these pictures:

Now I get I might be looking too hard into this and it might be an oversight by them, but that bothered me he was alive in that manner. If the still shows walkers completely surrounding him, then when he scoots under he is only really looking at one side worried about the walkers grabbing him. Also, Nicholas didn’t turn either?

My final gripe was not really a story line…but a “come on with this guy already” was Morgan’s sit down. I would have loved to have seen more of an interrogation with the Wolf or just without that sitdown…..but then again it was ok cause they let him know look, “I almost died because of your stupidity.”

And I think Deanna is toast next week. Lol. Thanks for the plans.

Nicholas didn't turn because he shot himself in the head.

I was never a big fan of Morgan to begin with and Eugene can be funny with the way he speaks sometimes, but his scaredy pants thing has gotten old quick. So I agree, yes to both.

I get that the scene certainly makes it seem hopeless, but if you think about it, it isn't that far fetched how he survived. The crowd of Walkers might be large, but really the only ones he needs to worry about are those immediately next to him. Those are the ones that are gonna bite him. Not the 500 others behind those that cannot reach him anyway because of the crowd. Have you ever tried to get thru a crowd of people to reach something? It's impossible.
As for how he crawls away, Walkers are immediately attracted to the eating feast, so they would go for the fresh meat of Nicholas and ignore him, at least as long as they dont realize that Glenn and Nicholas are not one and the same but rather two separate persons. As for why they leave...well, we've seen time and again that if you don't attract attention, the Walkers go away eventually. It might take a while, but they do. He stabs the two or three that saw him crawl under the dumpster to stay safe. They also provide a barrier of sorts from the others and camouflage his presence. The rest finish eating, the food is gone, and they saunter off. These are very dimwitted creatures after all.

Morgan should have never came back. Carol should have the honor.

I think the Morgan character is important as there always need to be some tension with the "moral compass" aspect of the show. I find the greatest attraction of the show to be the shreds of humanity that remain in the characters, despite all vectors pointing elsewhere...

glenn's enough..."never killed a human"...no matter how bad they deserved to die...

previous 'moral compass' Dale was a PITA...never liked him either...

Seems enough spilled walker fluids also messes up the walkers prey identification sense. Remember the meat ponchos from the early days in Atlanta?

While we are on the subject of annoying characters I would like to throw Carl into the pit. Rick was teaching the kid how to hold a gun (probably will not end well for somebody) and Carl kept adding his two cents in.

I see at some point Morgan will be vindicated in that a life he saves will in turn save somebody else like Carol or Judith. OR it will go horribly wrong and the saved life will just destroy everything. Right now it is just building for a bigger story.

If you cam across Rick today and asked him the three questions would you let him in your group?
What is Ricks human body count? Not walkers but living bad guys? Any guesses?

There are always two sides of a medal: Which person do you want to have NOT died?? For me, it is first Andrea of cause! Second the Governor, he was the meanest guy I have watched in a long time (and believe it or not, he had the BEST german voice you have ever heard!) And third I give two thumbs up for Hershel. It was a real shock to see him decapitated by the Governor!

Where have I read it? Kirkman meant on a question when TWK ends "when it die"! Sounds like we have to enjoy tons of coming seasons!!

Yeah, Hershel was something like "the good ghost" of the series, a point of calmness and get the others to slow down when probems came up. He is really missed.

And the Governor? From a human point of view it is good, he dies (way to quick I think), but from a story telling point of view, he could have lived a little bit longer, harhar!
