School bans girl's Wonder Woman lunchbox

And it's not just Wonder Woman; the school has a ban on all superhero stuff, because they "solve problems with violence"... see story here: School bans girl's Wonder Woman lunchbox

I'm not convinced at all that this incident actually happened.

The story lacks the fundamental facts of where the incident occurred and the name of the school or school district. Without these facts, the assertions made in the story cannot be independently verified. It simple does not hold any water. Given the sorry state of some of our public education systems, it would not surprise me at all if this story were true. But I don't believe everything I read on the Internet.

I don't believe everything I read or see on the internet either, and it may well be a hoax; that said, today's absurd hoaxes are tomorrow's absurd realities.
Some things that have a very real foothold in this country now would have been unthinkable when I was a wee lad, such as a child being suspended from school for biting a Pop Tart into the shape of a gun and then pointing it at classmates, or a boy suspended for pointing a finger and going "bang"... both of those events actually happened.

A kid was arrested for building a clock. How absurd is that?

So what if superheros solve problems with violence?

Anyone that says violence doesn't solve anything hasn't been in the armed forces or to war.

As far as the story being true I have no idea but the way this country is headed it I don't think it's that far fetched.
