Al was on Facebook today. Looks like he's OK, hopefully his fiancee as well, but the house is destroyed. He says GEOmetric Design is gone but he may try again after rebuilding his home.

I'm glad he's okay.. sad all those models gone..
Sorry if I sounded cold.. I was thinking all great models he took over from
George.. It would be very sad to see one first ones in hobby go..
I'm for sorry for Al & his wife.

Man, that's terrible. So sorry to hear it.
Al and Family, please take care. You are in my thoughts.

Oh my gosh -thank goodness that Al & family are OK though!

Horrible to lose such a collection and I too REALLY hope that it was all insured for full value. Not that that would remove the sentimental loss, but with family intact and an insurance payout, it would help ease some of the pain.

Hope they can find somewhere to settle for a while and get this sorted and rebuilt, AND that they have good friends they can fall back on for assistance.
