The Maltese Falcon - Yagher Hollywood Classics #1

#1 Post by derekc62 »

The stuff that dreams are made of...
After a month or so of building, painting, masking, sealing, etc. Bogart is ready to be displayed. Had a great time with John Tucky and Jeff Yagher's YHC#1 I went the extra mile with hair on the back of the hands, the nails, the cigarette and the tie - not to mention the pin striped suit.

Wow!

I have this kit and planned the exact same technique you used for the suit.
Got appropriate sized masking tape (from Micro Mark, I think).
Haven't started it yet but I can only hope it comes out half as good as yours.

Excellent!

Thanks, Charlie.
I got my 0.4mm masking tape from China (Micron).
It was the least expensive and came with free shipping.
