Marcus Deleo's Pole Dancer

#1 Post by Splash-Art »

Hello to all,
I just finished working on a few kits, and I wanted to take this time to post what's off the table. Last month I finally wrapped up working on the 31" Nautilus sub. It's a huge change from what I usually work on....figures! Anyway, I used this metal effects paint to give the sub that watered/rusted look, Here's a few pics. After doing all the wiring for the lights, and the extras...I couldn't wait to get back to something I'm more familiar with.

After using that metal paint, I thought of Marcus Deleo's Pole Dancer kit. My thought was to give her armor and base that same rusted warn look. This kit was so much fun to work on and paint! There is just so many details (Thanks Marcus), plus I like to add a few accessories to it. I had to cut the size down on the base since my display case is now becoming limited for space.

I did some redesigning on the shoes. Since I'm not a big fan of open toe shoes...I made some modifications. I used the metal effects paint on them as well. After a little work they turned out to my liking.

And this is what she looks like over all. So grab a drink and enjoy the show!

I like it. I like the dark and grungy look and colour palette.

The Nautilus is amazing. Two stunning builds.
