Atomic Tank- Balls of Steel

#1 Post by dewberry1964 »

So, I found this crazy tank image online from the game World of Tanks. I thought that’s cool, what would the American counterpart be? A football of death of course. Atomic powered and armed with twin lasers. The figure is just for scale, I have a set coming just for this one.

That is....cool

My hat's off too you! Really great example of scratch building skills. Build another one as a companion painted like an Easter Egg? Sorry, had to get that out of my head...

That looks awesome! It reminds me little bit of the kugelpanzer, but much bigger and armed!

Well now that's different. Really cool armored vehicle and terrific job with assembly and paint. Way cool.

Dewberry1964,

That's Toooo Kewl!

Really nice paint finish, nice base and presentation, and nice complementary figure you included.

Interestingly enough, a similar plastic kit has recently been released, (the Soviet Ball Tank "Sharotank):

I wonder if yours is a distant distant American cousin of the Soviet "Sharotank"? :D
Keep the glue and paint flowing, take care and stay blessed!

Nicely done.

I believe there where concepts of these types of tanks.
I think i saw one on the cover of an old popular mechanics magazine.

I was thinking exactly the same thing.

Possibly a mine field clearing device.
