I've messed with both. The ordinary Createx are designed for airbrushing teeshirts, and when you use them on hard surfaces, they tend to run when sprayed and don't dry well (although you can heat the surface and then they'll set up) and the resulting paint layer is kind of fragile. I've seen "recipes" on the internet for mixing them with Future or whatever, but since all my experiences with doing my own paint chemistry experiments have been unsuccessful, I've never tried a home-brew Createx mix.
The Createx Wicked Colors, on the other hand, are designed for hard surfaces. When you use Createx's airbrush thinner, they airbrush like a dream and dry quick and hard. Takes maybe three coats to get a nice rich color though. I used Createx Wicked yellow pearl on this project, and it worked great. I've also had success with tinting Wicked colors by mixing them with ordinary Createx; the mixture sprayed well and set up just fine.
