The classic S. Hayes 'Hunter of Darkness'

#1 Post by Tiger2 »

This one's been a labour of love, lots of challenging details and different surfaces to paint!
The kit is about 1/8th scale and was originally released back in 2002, but still packs a punch
for pose, detail and capturing a sense of movement and attitude that I've always admired.

Big thanks to Ian (Heavy Metal Spike) for making this one possible for me.

(WIP thread here http://theclubhouse1.net/phpBB3/viewtop ... 9&t=119378)

All the best and a happy Easter to everyone!

Paul

This kit was the first "grail" I ever added to my "must have" / "wants" list. Took me 8 months to track one down as they were as rare as hens teeth.

As you say - it's aged really well and is arguably one of the best (if not THE best) Predator sculpts Shiraiwa Hayes ever did.

You've done it proud Paul - well done!

Superb! The colour palette is perfect but it's your attention to detail and gorgeous shading and highlighting that takes this to the next level. Stunning!
